| TIPS FOR BUYING FPD TVs |

Overview: The following slide presentation, developed for NIST seminars and courses, provides some tips on selecting HDTVs, flat-panel televisions, or FPD TVs for your living room. A good way to view the slides is to download (File/Save As) the slide-presentation file (Tips.pdf) to your computer and then view it in full-screen mode (View/Full Screen) in the Adobe Reader®*. You may also put it on a CD-ROM or USB* memory stick and take it with you to view the patterns on various displays provided they can be connected to a computer that is also running Adobe Reader®. If
you have already purchased an
FPD TV and are happy with it,
