We often make contributions to standards committees and working groups. Should such contributions or papers concerning our standards work be available in the public domain, we will place them here.

What Do the Specifications Mean?: (ADEAC04-Specifications.pdf) --This publication discusses specsmanship, incorrect units of measure, and composite metrics. Composite metrics (Section 5) are combinations of basic metrics (fundamental metrics such as luminance and derived metrics such as contrast that are all based upon simple measurements). Citation: E. F. Kelley, "What Do the Specifications Mean?" Proceedings of the Fisrt Americas Display Engineering and Applications Conference (ADEAC 2004), Society for Information Display, Ft. Plotting the Course of the Next VESA Flat Panel Display Measurements Standard: (SID04-FPDM-Review.pdf) --This publication discusses the success of theVESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) FPDM Standard and discloses some of the changes that will come with version 3.0 of that standard. Citation: E. F.
